Paid Lots With No Results

I went to modleing school in Tucson Arizona and 
paid lots of money. The agency told me that I would 
star geting jobs but I never did. I have a portfolio what 
is my next step? What agency would I be looking at?

Basically you should check the internet for agencies
in your area that you can email images to. If you
are young enough then you can also apply to the
big agencies in LA and New York. Also there may
be small jobs on Craigs List you can also apply for.
However, when you are freelancing be extra 
careful to only work with reputable people!

Read their requirements and send in your images.

Ear modeling?

No there is no such thing as an ear model. As a 
matter of fact I don't think I've ever heard
of an "ear" booking. So don't worry - they don't exist!

Braces, what's the story

My daughter is interested in modeling and has been told by namy people, other than family and friends, that she should. She is 5'9 and thirteen years old. The problem is she still has her braces for another year. Could she still model? or should we wait? Thanks!

At 13 there is no big hurry. I would wait until she has them off to take pictures and submit to agencies.

As we have said many times it  should cost nothing! Any new face booker should be able to tell you if they are interested in you based on pictures you take yourself.

Best way to get introduced

What would be the best way to get introduced to the modeling industry? I went to a school for over a year, and got no jobs, or agents.

That's too bad about not getting any modeling jobs. Still the best way to be seen by agents in your area is to email them your images. All it takes is a friend taking your pictures in a few different outfits and poses. Check the website for more information.

New pictures after one year?

I have profesional pictures, but they are around 1 year old, and i look pretty different now. should i still send them in, or take new ones myself? p.s.-i am 17 years old.

Let's be clear about one thing, clients book models from their pictures. If the model shows up looking different from their pictures standby for big trouble! Definately take new pictures.

Great looking but 5'7"

I am very very good looking I get about 8 out of 10 women to say that I should model my body is great my face everything ect..but I am 5'7" with a market of usually 6' or taller do I stand a chance? Thanks!

At 5'7" it is going to be difficult to break into print modeling. I would suggest trying acting if that's your thing or maybe some related field.

Hi. i am very interested in modeling and would enjoy it very much. the only problem is that i have no idea where to get started. i need help. i have been told by a few people that work for teen modeling aganecies that i should look into it. i really would like to. i am 16 and i am 5 6 and 115 pounds. if you have any idea of a way to help me i would greatly appriciate it. thanks!

For starters there really are no teen modeling agencies. Almost all agencies simply have a teen division. To get started check our website for picture preparation and submit by email to agencies in your area. Just check Google for them. At 5'6" you are on the border of what most new face bookers will accept so try submitting to more than one agency.
