Zaiba Jabbar is a self taught filmmaker living in London. Originally studying Graphic Design at Central Saint Martins. Zaiba went on to work in the music video industry and has been directing fashion films since 2008. Zaiba's aesthetic draws on her unique stylised interpretation of the world around her.
Since Zaiba was one of two winners of the ASVOFF and Vogue Italia Light Series competition's in Milan for her video for William Richard Green; Zaiba continues to make innovative and original interpretations of what a fashion film can be and is especially interested in the link between music and fashion.
Zaiba has worked with a number of commercial brands and smaller fashion labels which include Aquascutum, Mulberry, Levis and Blackberry to name a few.
Zaiba has also screened her films internationally at the XXXX Voyeur Exhibition at Art Basel in Miami, ASVOFF Milano, ASVOFF 3, at on home turf in London town at the Birds Eye View Festival- Fashion Loves Film strand as well as at at the London Short Film Festival.
Zaiba's work has been published on a variety of industry websites that include Vogue.it, Dazed Digital, Vice Style, Fashion 156, FTAPE, Business of Fashion, Portable Tv, Promo News, as well as numerous blogs.
