Last night my experience was no exception. This is the Anthro in UTC. They've used big fluffy white pieces of paper to take up the whole window, while also giving off the impression of a winter wonderland cave. Inside the store, they've made a bird out of rolled up newspaper, and a city out of rulers.
Last year I noticed they had made windows out of old phone books. My question to them would be, do they always strive to recycle old things into new displays? I would hate to think they would buy new rulers for something that looks like old rulers. Distressed is very popular right now for display pieces. Stores love to take new things and rug them up, creating a more hip approach to the shabby chic philosophy.
Let's hope they are actually recycling. That would make them that much cooler.

Once they learn that, SEO wise, it is very important to do so, they add them but they are not unique.
