Flat love

Flats shoes have become a new fashion trend, my favorite pair is starting look very beat up so I headed to Nordstrom Rack and see if I could score a new pair. I was excited by the 30% and 50% off  sale on selected shoes, unfortunately the ones I loved were not on sale. I found  the three cute pairs pictured above, the shiny bow ones are from Moschino, the pretty ones in the middle are Tory Burch and the pink ones on the right are Salvatore Ferragamo.They all had a price tag of over $100, so I decided that I would think it over and pick a favorite and get it tomorrow. Which one should I take home with me?

 I'm going with the Tory Burch! They will look great with my favorite shade a nail polish.

Getting Ruffles

Ruffles are all the rage right now and I love ruffles, just one quick look in my closet will convince you. I love how this stylish lady is wearing the trend. Short sleeves to showcase her slender toned arms, small ruffles along the neckline to focus the eye on the upper part of the body and the face. The clear diamond shaped buttons gives it a rich look. Love it!

Cute ruffle top from Charlotte Russe($19.99), I love this one because of the v-neckline which is flattering for all shapes.

This dress from Anthropologie($158) is awesome, vertical pleats,small ruffles on the chest and chiffon fabric that flows weightlessly.

Pretty peach ruffle blouse from Forever21($19.80), very pretty.

Like the trend but don't think you could pull off a shirt or dress? Try a cute scarf like this one from Macy's($38) it gives you the ruffles you love without making you look too girly girl.

You got Plaid

Plaid is huge right now, I really love the way this girl is wearing this trend. Here is why this looks works,she is wearing skinny jeans with her shirt which looks great on  her slender body. Another smart thing she is doing is wearing her shirt with a belt at the waist which gives her shape and defines her waist. Her studded sandals are a perfect way to finish this super cute look. Bravo!

I really love this shirt from American Eagle ($39.50), I love the belt and the small ruffles which makes it more feminine.I also really like the rolled up sleeves.

Another plaid shirt, this one is from Charlotte Russe ($19.99), I love the vertical pleats on this one, drawing the eye to the front of the body and again the rolled up sleeves are great.

A skirt is another way to wear this cute trend, this mini by Forever 21($14.80) is really nice way to show off  your legs.

I like this plaid dress from Anthropologie ($118) because it has side hidden pockets, great for carrying my iPhone and my keys.

My style is pretty feminine and this number by Charlotte Russe($29.99) is perfect for me. I love the small ruffles on the chest and sleeves.

I just had to post another picture of this dress to show you the draping at the bottom of the dress. Pretty don't you think?
